Privacy notice

Ross Quade publishes Austin Apartment Reviews Guide, an independent directory of apartment complex businesses in Greater Austin. Most visits leave nothing personal with us at all. This page covers the cases that do: enquiry forms, attribution data, and the third-party services the site loads.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or quote request through a form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, your message, and any answers you give about the service you need or your timing. Alongside that, the form records the page you submitted from and basic traffic-source attribution, meaning the referring site and any UTM tags on the link that brought you here.

Who receives your enquiry

When you submit a form, our lead-capture processor handles the submission and passes it to two parties: the business your enquiry concerns and the operator of this site. Nothing you submit is published on the site itself.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set tracking cookies of our own. The one thing the site stores client-side is session-scoped attribution data (referrer, landing page, UTM parameters) in sessionStorage, so that a form sent later in your visit records where you came from. It is first-party only and clears when the session ends.

Usage measurement

This site may run Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Where analytics is enabled, those services may set cookies to measure visits and page use, under Google’s own privacy terms.

Services this site loads

Three third-party services can receive requests from your browser while you use this site: Google Fonts, which serves the site’s typefaces; OpenStreetMap, which serves map tiles; and Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects forms from spam when enabled. Each sees request data such as your IP address and handles it under its own policy.

Where listing data comes from

Listings are built from public sources such as Google Business Profile reviews. What we keep is derived analysis: scores, summaries, and sentiment, never the raw review text itself. Businesses that want a listing corrected or removed can follow the listing policy.

Your requests

Enquiry details are retained while they are needed to deliver and follow up the enquiry, and not longer than that purpose requires. You can ask for access to your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to [email protected].
